Have you ever seen this billboard for IVI Premium Collagen Powder along C-5? Finally I was able to grab a shot of it last Saturday after I attended the Family Day at PAREF Woodrose School for Girls at Ayala Alabang.
Okay, here’s a closer look:
I’ve seen this billboard maybe thrice, but it always got me thinking. What about it piqued my curiousity? Aside from Gretchen looking younger than ever, those 2 cleaners are definitely attention-grabbing as well. The first time I saw it, I thought the cleaners were real but when I read the message “Erase Age Marks”, well… yeah that explains it.
As soon as we got home that day, I quickly checked out the info online about IVI Premium Collagen Powder. Below are some info I got from the IVI Website.

Knowing this now, I’ve decided to try out this product. I’m in my mid-30s and have no skin regimen whatsoever. I don’t wear makeup, I don’t use toners and facial wash, neither do I moisturize. I played outdoor sports when I was 11 until I was in my 20s, that’s golf every summer and weekends, and I didn’t use an umbrella or sunblock either. So yes, I’m guilty of sun exposure and smoking (though it’s been 4.5 years since I’ve stopped).
It’s been 4 days since I’ve had the powder with my morning coffee and I can’t wait to finish the first box (or more). Hopefully, there is still hope for me to reverse or halt some of the damage that I’ve subjected my skin to (unconsciously of course). When mixed with black coffee, the color will change at the start, as if you’ve put 1/4tsp of cream. Stirring continuously then breaks down the powder and the coffee goes back to its original color. The taste? I don’t taste it much. I know there’s powder in it, so maybe it’s psychological that I think it tastes just a hint of mild milk or cream. Let’s see what happens in 14 days shall we? It doesn’t taste much like anything actually. When you drink it while it’s still a bit brownish, meaning the powder hasn’t completely dissolved yet, you’ll taste just a tiny hint of something like milk or cream. But when it’s totally dissolved, it’s just your good old coffee 
I no try any collagen drink or powder as it would cost at least usd30 here

thats very interesting i can say… but i mean i guess it would be more interesting if they use other older celebrities like vilma etc. for some reason of ageing ryt? but i think gretchen is still young to advertise things like this,, good luck dear! hope it will work properly on your skin. and remember just smile every time!! xx god bless!
i think Gretchen perfectly fits with this product , because Gretchen is around 30 or 40 i guess? and remains fresh . and also the recommendation age of IVI starts from age 25 and so on .

I see some Japanese writings on the boxes of the product.. hmn no doubt, Japanese people are right now, too much amazed with collagen and i think they got the valid reason to adore the thing. When I was still in Japan a few years ago, collagen based products are almost everywhere.

wow, I’m also curious as to its effect on you.
Do update us if it really works.. I’ve also read about the importance of using sunblock everytime one goes out, even though a person does not feel like getting exposed to the sun that much. So perhaps if it’s collagen already (and it’s one of the basic building blocks of a healthy system), it could indeed be wondrous!
If you just want to look young in photos like Gretchen in that billboard then all you got to do is have someone Photoshop your pictures. Ha ha ha!

Thank you for your comment. I only used IVI Premium Collagen Powder Drink and must say that it did have an effect on how the skin, particularly the face felt and looked. It definitely gave a bit of a rosy “glow” finish to my face if you know what I mean. The results, I think, I noticed in about a week. Unfortunately, I had to stop it for a while to review another product but am looking at taking at again and maybe provide a more thorough review since I’ll try to use it for a longer period of time. I’ve heard some people say that it prevents or got rid of acne on their faces, and some even said that it may have contributed to their weight loss. I’ll keep you up to date when I do get to try it out again. ~ Kat

I saw a difference on my skin a little after a week. I don’t think taking it for 1 month, which I did would actually seem to have a great effect but it did make my face seem to glow about a week after.

hi! i’m hypertensive -is it safe to take this product coz i’ve read it contains sodium ascorbate which can make your BP high?
I’m not particularly sure about its effect with hypertension. Better to consult your physician about the contents just to be sure but I’ll be prying that you can take it too

Hi Ellen,
I’m not sure what the effects are if you take it before you sleep. When I took it, I was advised though to take it first thing in the morning. Try to post your question on IVI Collagen’s Facebook page. Admins there are usually online most of the time and they can probably confirm the best time to take it, or if there’s a difference when taken right before sleeping.

I read about ivi collagen in facebook…….I was amazed while reading the different comments about the product..have not try iivi collagen yet but, I look 15 years younger than my age at 61…my friends told me why i am not getting old maybe it is genetic i said .. I’m still on my early 20′s but because of the nature of my job I feel and may look older than what I should be. Was supposed to be on my second day but I skipped because I’m not sure when’s the best time to take it. I’ve tried taking it before bed though and it left me restless – I can’t sleep properly and I was burping and smelling the powder(or it was just my imagination). Ha! Will try after breakfast. consumed 6 boxes and 10 bottles for less than 3 months and i didnt see any effect. posted a negative comment on ivi facebook page and they only deleted and blocked me. they delete negative comments and only keep the good ones. i think some of the members on the facebook page who are always posting nice things are paid to promote the product.
